Some of you may remember the summer days when we came together from all corners of the state to “circle up” at Sally Wolf’s farm. One giant community circle outside, no agenda, breaking bread, and building community. The gatherings were all about what is core to our work, what we believe to be the most powerful outcomes of sharing stories in restorative spaces: building relationships; listening and learning about what’s happening in backyards that are not our own; and supporting one another to thrive in our individual and collective work and lives. Parting ways, we would get into our cars to head back to our own backyards feeling inspired, fulfilled, and connected. We are long overdue; it is time to gather again.
